Enemy intermittantly shelled Z2 during the morning, was answered by our artillery.
Battalion moved into Z2 trenches during the afternoon, and relieved the 6th R Berkshires Regt who went into Maricourt Defences.
Enemy again shelled Suzanne-Maricourt Road at about 7.30pm, our transport did not come up till 10.30pm.
