Thanks to Dan Todman at Trench Fever I've become aware of the blog of Plugstreet archaeological project in Belgium. It is interesting to hear the viewpoint of those carrying out this work, particularly in view of this, but their blog is also good value as it has some great links. For example to the AWM's blog here.
Overall, well worth a look.
